Dreaming of Julia, a Stonestreet Stables homebred, has the proper lineage to be a star being by two-time leading North American sire A.P. Indy and out of Dream Rush, a multiple Grade 1-winning mare. Dreaming of Julia immediately set about living up to her regal bloodlines in winning her first two career starts by a combined margin 26 ¾ lengths. She then battled gamely to fend off My Happy Face in the Frizette Stakes (G1) in her graded stakes debut. "Julia" ended her season by finishing third in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1).
Live Lively was Dreaming of Julia's downfall in his 2013 debut where she finished second but she came back to blow her rivals out of the water in the Gulfstream Park Oaks (G2) by 21 3/4 lengths to secure herself a spot in the Kentucky Oaks (G1).
