Falling Sky sold for $425,000 at the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company January 2013 Winter Mixed Sale. He paid back his new connections when he won the first race for his new connections when he won the Sam F. Davis (G3), earning 10 Kentucky Derby points.
After a third in the Tampa Bay Derby (G2) and a forth in the Arkansas Derby (G1), Falling Sky secured the last spot in the Kentucky Derby gate.
