Frac Daddy finished second in his career debut before winning his second career start by 9 3/4 lengths at Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby. Frac Daddy followed with a runner-up finish in the 2012 Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes (G2), which stamped him a contender for the 2013 Triple Crown trail.
Frac Daddy had a bad start to the 2013 season but finally secured himself a spot in the Kentucky Derby with a second place finish in the Arkansas Derby (G1).
