Graydar broke his maiden in his debut with an 8 1/2 length score in April of his 3-year-old year before taking a break and returning in the Fall. The colt lost his first race back but won his third start by 4 1/4 lengths before moving up to stakes company in the Donn Handicap (G1). The Twin Creeks Racing Stables runner led wire-to-wire to win by three lengths over horses such as Bourbon Courage, Take Charge Indy, and Flat Out.
