Three times he finished second in graded stakes at Keeneland, losing by a heartbreaking nose in the 2011 Transylvania Stakes (G3), again by a nose in the Shakertown Stakes (G3) in April 2012 and by a length in the Woodford Stakes (G3) in October 2012.
