Bred: Grovendale Sales (Ky.)
Sire: Scat Daddy

Trainer John Sadler thought enough of this 3-year-old filly to nominate her to the Triple Crown, though he decided to keep her competing against her own sex in the first halt of 2012. She has validated that decision by posting multiple stakes wins, including a dominant win in the American Oaks Stakes (G1) at Hollywood Park.
Sadler’s Scat Daddy filly will be tested if she tackles older fillies and mares in the Breeders’ Cup World Championships, either on the turf or the main track. In her favor, however, is the fact the races will be held in her Southern California backyard at Santa Anita Park, where she has been stabled most of the year since coming to Sadler following her maiden victory in November at Churchill Downs. She has thrived on the Santa Anita turf.
Sadler bought the filly privately following her maiden win for Kosta and Pete Hronis, who race as Hronis Racing LLC, and have been clients of Sadler’s since 2010. The brothers have been racing enthusiasts since they were youngsters visiting Santa Anita while on jaunts to their grandparents’ home.
