After finishing second in the Gulfstream Park Oaks (G2) and Acorn Stakes (G1), Zo Impressive broke through for her first stakes victory in the Mother Goose Stakes (G1) on June 23 at Belmont Park, becoming the first career Grade 1 winner for her sire, Hard Spun.
The gray or roan filly is one of two Grade 1 winners produced by Grade 1 winner Zoftig, by Cozzene. Her half-sister Zaftig won the Acorn Stakes (G1) in 2008.
