Benjamin Leon Jr. has made a lasting impression in the Thoroughbred industry in a very short period of time, purchasing sale toppers at some of the industry’s biggest auctions, including the $8.5-million purchase of 2011 Breeders’ Cup Ladies’ Classic (G1) winner Royal Delta at the 2011 Keeneland November breeding stock sale.
Leon has been a successful businessman in health care and real estate ventures and he is a member of the National Softball Hall of Fame. Leon also breeds world champion Paso Fino horses.
