Chris McCarron is a Hall of Fame jockey who is fifth on the all-time list with 7,141 victories. These wins include two Kentucky Derbys (Alysheba, 1987; Go for Gin, 1994) and five Breeders’ Cup Classics, including back-to-back scores aboard Tiznow in 2000-2001. Now retired, McCarron runs the North American Racing Academy in Lexington. It is the only accredited jockey school in the United States.
